I never knew that difference - that’s interesting. Pauline became an utter misery towards the end so it was very difficult to like her.

There is a clip from 2001 of both of them greeting the queen on set and then Barbara leads with the queen, Wendy with the king. There’s been a lot of talk about Wendy not being happy with that, but Wendy generally being unhappy when Barbara came in as it was felt by Wendy that she had lost being the main matriarch.

I was thinking the same thing. She sells food 🌭
Yet she can't even provide a bap for her own kids 😄 and Freddie who's getting money for his feet shots couldn't nip out to the shop to buy bread milk and cereal 😃 ridiculous 🙄

Surely by trying to take Nish down she's going to be implicating Suki in crime? After all it's a family business so Suki would be dragged into it as well.

At this rate Mini will be the only member of his family not going to prison 😁
 
The girl who plays Amy can’t act for tit, what was all that fake stuttering and scared rabbit in headlights scene with Denzel. Why does Denzel care so much about the truth? The same Denzel who lied about his grandparents for a school essay, the same Denzel who less than a week ago lied to his dad and held a party in their house behind his back. Make it make sense.

Re: Eve, she is giving my crazy bunny boiler vibes. Suki has only just started vocally reciprocating her feelings and she is getting ready to try and get rid of Nish for good. Madness.

I wonder if Eve is the cuff link person, she is fond of blazer or two.
 
I don't understand how Nish is the kingpin. He's been in prison 20 years and during that time Suki and Kheerat built up the businesses and they had no contact with him.

Stacey is the only adult in that house to pay all the bills, are her mum, Eve, Harvey, Alfie and Freddie all complete twats who contribute nothing and leech off her?

Are you sure? I watched This Life recently and don’t remember seeing him. He was a sleazy guy in The End of the bleeping World recently.

My theory is that he’ll somehow implicate Eve or Suki in the crimes, perhaps even weaselling out of it and getting Eve sent to prison, and might end up on the floor of the Vic because of it. Yeah it doesn’t make sense because Eve is the informant but this is EE.

Also, what did Eve have for breakfast since there is no food and she can’t take a bap?

Big respect to them both. Especially Natalie who's on to her third. I wouldn't mind giving it a go myself one day, but not three times as once would be enough haha.
 
Thoughts from today's episode

1. Stacey owns a FOOD business

2. How do they not have ANYTHING to eat but had a 'party' the day before, where was the party food/leftovers?? If anything this storyline is higlighting how they mismanage their money - go to the Vic, hosts parties etc

3. Why didnt Nish question Eve being there in the first place?

4. Surely, the Panesars would have CCTV in all of their businesses (office, minute mart etc) esp if they're a bit dodgy

5. What EXACTLY does Eve do for Nish? How much does she get paid and where does that money go?? (If not to Stacey's Bills) - to me just seems like a far fetched way of connecting Eve to Nish

6. They're both too smart to only book the one room?!

7. Amy's acting was extra awful. I couldnt bear to watch how bad it was, was her acted stuttering supposed to show emotion??

8. Staring at an envelope the entire day won't lower the energy bill

9. Hope and Arthur were adorable

10. Who's selling the Baps whilst Staceys at home/cafe and Eve is following Nish/Suki

Yet when Linda was on a suspended sentence the probation officer was always sniffing around the Vic. She almost went to jail for missing an appointment for helping Janine. Perhaps all the local probation officers are busy on the Linda case, the square’s most evil criminal mind.
