I did the same, was an avid watcher, then stopped for about 3 years and then started watching again at the end of last year and I really do look forward to sitting down and watching it every night 😂

Some things that really confuse me in the few years I missed...Sharon and Ian were a couple!?? I just can not see how this became a thing after being best friends for 30 years. Honey and Jay?? What!? Stacey was in prison and married Eve?? What was she in prison for? Janine and Mick as a couple also never made sense to me. I also missed when Felix and hjs brother (?) came in, how were they introduced, did they have a story line because they seem completely pointless characters to me. Haha im sure there's so much more but every time these things get mentioned I'm like huh??!

Sharon was trying to get revenge on Ian because she held him responsible for her son’s death. It’s complicated though. He sort of was. Might be worth watching the boat sinking episode.

Honey and Jay was gross yes. I think Stacey was in prison for assaulting Ruby which caused her to lose her baby. It was a stupid storyline.

Felix and his brother are Mitch’s nephews. Mitch’s brother turned up and was terminally ill. He was broke so once he died the brothers stayed with Mitch and Karen for a bit then moved into the house share.

My memory is hazy but Ruby did lose her baby but not from the assault by Stacey, she’d already lost her baby before that happened but hadn’t told anyone but she made out that was the reason she lost the baby.

In fact I’m not even sure Stacey really did assault Ruby. Didn’t Ruby frame her by editing the club CCTV to make it look as though Stacey was attacking her?

I think you have recalled it perfectly and from what I remember I think Ruby deleted the CCTV that proved Stacey didn't push her and only showed the police footage from a particular camera angle that made Stacey look guilty.

Actually yes you’re right. It was ridiculous because Ruby had already been to hospital and been told she was losing the baby the day before, but the police just kind of took her word for it. If her medical records had been checked they would have seen she was already having a miscarriage.

I think they were arguing around the stairs as people always do in Eastenders when pregnant and Stacey might have swung her arms or something that made it look like she’d pushed her.

I’m the exact same 😂 Stopped watching around the time Abby Branning died or maybe it was Roxy and Ronnie dying and have since switched it back on. So Linda and Mike split, Jack and Denise?? Phil and Kat?? 😂
