Love this hahahahaha
Agreed didn’t like Kris and Brianna at all. Nothing interesting about them.Love Safa's and Zeina's friendship!! they're just the cutest and the loyalty they have for each other aswell Zeina is strong and classy, she handed that coffee scene better than I could have LOL ...which I don't think its fake by the looks of it. The way it shook up Zeina after it, she looked disappointed and distant in the next few episodes after it
Danya gave me bad vibes from the beginning, very snobby and thinks shes God's gift, she proved it when she inserted herself into Ebraheem's drama like excuse me miss??? that had nothing to do with you. Clearly just bored and bitter because her husband is out partying with random women
I also disliked Brianna which might be controversial but she got too big for her boots and sounded very spoilt/entitled when it came to business and money, which is Kris's money. Kris also needs to be removed from the show as they both equally as a couple add nothing to the show except long plaited ponytails and constant bickering
Does anyone know if there's confirmation of a season 2?
Absolutely wet myself at this commentEbraheem is so far in the closet his name should be Aslan.
Does anyone else’s think Danya dresses quite modestly esp in comparison to the rest?
Yup, as much as I don't like her personality from what we've seen on the show, she dresses quite nice. I guess because shes Emirati and wants to be respectable? yet her husband is a DJ and takes his shirt off and dances with women! contradicting
His poor wife married to a man who is gay.Soooo… is Ebraheem married??
Agreed! Will he ever love anyone more than himself? !His poor wife married to a man who is gay.
Was watching Kempire on YT apparently there’s a Netflix investigation about someone leaking salaries for their show, allegedly they’re only getting just under £2.5k per episode total of 8 episodes. Now that’s not a lot considering what bravo pay the housewives. Anyway some of the cast aren’t happy as they now will struggle in getting the £10k they want for appearances and future deals knowing they don’t get paid that on the show.
I agree with you. I know a few people who are non-Arabs that grew up in the uae. They were accustomed to having house maids, drivers and living so comfortable and lavish. When they came to the US, UK, and Canada, they had a nervous breakdown because they weren’t accustomed to life in the west. They weren’t used to having to make dinner by themselves, doing their own laundry and cleaning. One woman had a nervous breakdown and became suicidal too.Reason why guys like Ebraheem won’t move is because they can’t actually live anywhere else. The reality of living in a place where you actually come in touch and mix with different class of society, politics, social issues and are faced with would be too much. Don’t forget these people have grown up with housemaids and drivers and gone to private school and just generally very privileged.
The women like Safa, Zeina, Farhana, LJ and even Lojain are different, coming from London, Lebanon, India and even Saudi (which is quite rough) have all probably seen some and understood some kind of struggle, crime, poverty, war, political unrest, even if say they haven’t experienced it themselves they probably have come in touch with it at some point. Therefore choose to live in Dubai because they understand the safe haven UAE offers.
Living in the UAE, is like living in a Disneyland bubble you are so sheltered that even as an expatriate who grows up there would find it difficult to actually be a somebody elsewhere. The struggles of having to integrate outside it is hard for a lot of people. You can get away with a lot of things in uae that you can’t in other countries, people will call you out regardless of your wealth.
There is an LGBT community (just not a public one) in the UAE. It’s probably easier to live together as a gay couple there because it’s less frowned upon two men living together than those of the opposite sex when you think about it.
