Well kinda but not entirely... it's pretty easy to manipulate by editing parts in or out of context and editing parts out completely to make certain reactions look overly emotional or emotionless (like they apparently did with Ginny & Sister Sisters 'heart to heart') editing isn't as simple as just choosing what to show and what not to show. They can manipulate the actual situation entirely with just choosing how they present the footage.

Yes, exactly. Of course, it's objectively moany for Lawrence to complain about Ellie wanting her to lose in a competition where only one queen can win. but it's the extremeness of the reaction that we're shocked and angered by - and crucially, we don't actually know if we've seen the whole picture of what they're reacting to. we don't know what else Ellie might have been saying or doing that's not been shown.

from what we've seen, it looks like Lawrence and A'Whora kicked off over something stupid and basically bullied ellie over it. the way we've seen lawrence & a'whora behave before is making us more inclined to believe that they're just being petty witches, but material that's given us this impression could also have been manipulated by the editors/producers (sorry for poss. lingo mistakes - don't know much about production)

Tayce reassuring ellie afterwards does make me think that maybe lawrence & a'whora were reacting to nothing, & some of the stuff Lawrence has said is hard to justify in any context, but we still can't know for sure. unfortunately, direct trolling is still a huge issue, so I think editors have a bit of responsibility to make sure they don't stick a target on someone's head - especially where it comes into someone's livelihood

Bimini has done so well during the second half of the competition that I keep forgetting she was bottom 2 in the first week.

It’s interesting how many butterfly effects there’s been this season. We could’ve had a very different elimination order had Ginny not tapped out, Veronica hadn’t tested positive and had Cherry or Asstina been the returning contestant over Joe.

Agree 100% Veronica was for sure final 3 material! I was gutted when they said she wasn’t returning.

Just caught up with last nights episode

No need for A'Whora or Lawrence to go off on Ellie the way they did, as we've said it's a competition and you can guarantee anyone else would have done the same. Winning the mini challenge means you have an advantage so they knew exactly what was going to happen

Whatever line up Ellie made was going to piss people off, just get over it and take it in your stride

To be the winner you need to be an all rounder, so if comedy isn't your thing it doesn't matter whether you go 1st 3rd or last etc you still aren't going to the best. That's why I think Bimini wasn't arsed as she is generally laid back but as she knows comedy is her thing it wouldn't have mattered where she went she was always going to do well. I really don't get why Lawrence was pissed off in particular? What place in the line up would they have wanted?

Glad Tayce won the lip sync, she has really grown on me the last few weeks. I've not really warmed to A'Whora since the first episode, they all make catty jokes which are funny but I just found hers to be a bit mean and not funny

I just don't think Ellie is mature enough for drag race and tonight kinda showed that - she still has a very young, high school mentality. I didn't really find her routine funny and she's not won a challenge and feels like she's taking up space now.

Re: Lawrence being pissed off - Lawrence is definitely a big fish in a small pond in Glasgow and that shows. I don't think he's a bully but is very direct when he doesn't like something. The running order sucked in all honesty, Ellie deliberately set people up to fail and I'd rather it was fair so the jokes could do the talking.

Bimini was great though and deserved the win.

Apparently, it was big gaping asshole - I thought it must be much worse for them to bleep it out.

really going to miss watching tayce and a’whora together, they have really magic chemistry and I loved them on screen together.They were my favorites of the season including Bimini aswell obvs! I thought it was funny having a bit of a have they, haven’t they running through 😭
 
I do find it weird that it was censored especially as it's on iplayer not the actual TV and you have to click before you start acknowledging that you want to watch it without a PG lock...anyway I'm not sure I 100% agree with the final 4 but that's because I wouldn't have eliminated some of the queens who have gone home, while I don't condone bullying lawrence on twitter i've disliked them from early on and hated the lawrence as the fave narrative that's been pushed on us reallyyy showed true colours this week and while a'whora was being nasty too that's nothing out of the ordinary for them the fact lawrence was saying i could've gone home??? okay there's 5 of you left what do you expect there's literally 2 episodes of the competition left maybe if this was the second episode that outburst could've been acceptable but anyway I think lawrence has had average looks since week 1 and for a comedy queen reaaaaally isn't that funny, Bimini is the clear winner for me genuinely funny, serving looks and very humble

Tayce is stunning and genuinely has had some great runways and performances but isn't neccesarily winner material to me
 
It’s potentially because drag race has some quite young fans (there’s a lot school age fans thanks to accessibility via Netflix and now iPlayer )I think flea bag had a slightly older audience. I don’t condone the censorship but it’s not necessarily the bbc who asked for it to be censored it’s probably more WOW etc
