I don't get the needs to change the look criticism. Michelle Visage always has a go at some queens about their look being the same but isn't that part of their character?
Drag Race fans on Twitter need to take up meditation or something. They're hounding the contestants, saying nasty things as if LC or A'Whora personally afronted them. Jesus.
It's a TV show! One that was filmed months ago and tthe contestants have dealt with any hard feelings there might have been. Why do people get their knickers in a twist so much so that they see fit to send messages to one of the contestants calling them names? It's so cruel. Imagine getting 100s of messages from people within seconds saying all sorts of horrible things about you?
Can people not just celebrate the queens they enjoyed rather than being venemous towards the ones that were annoying?
Not just that, but the show has been edited in such a way to make them seem bitchy/horrible, I get having an opinion on someone but like you said, at the end of the day it's a TV showDrag Race fans on Twitter need to take up meditation or something. I swear it's the same every week. Awhora was getting tit at the start of the series, then Sister was on the receiving end (for being shady to Awhora, ironically ), and now we're back to Awhora plus Lawrence.Drag Race fans on Twitter need to take up meditation or something. That’s actually made me quite sad that it’s come to that. Surely everyone must know by now reality shows are heavily edited to influence audiences.Apparently Lawrence has deactivated their twitter
The thing with editing is they can only edit what they have. If you don’t kick off and throw a tantrum they can’t edit it.If they have edited some of Ellie's shadiness out & that's what Lawrence & A'Whora are fuelled by, it's kinda shady on the editors'/producers' part. presenting Lawrence as the clear favourite and then making her look like a complete petty witch is bound to attract hate. It's not right to build someone up as the fave and then make them look like an arse. Keeps DRUK talked about though
I guess at the end of the day, we'll never know what was said behind the scenes, so we'll never know whether they were reacting as it seems - unfairly and stupidly - or whether there was more to it than that
Well kinda but not entirely... it's pretty easy to manipulate by editing parts in or out of context and editing parts out completely to make certain reactions look overly emotional or emotionless (like they apparently did with Ginny & Sister Sisters 'heart to heart') editing isn't as simple as just choosing what to show and what not to show. They can manipulate the actual situation entirely with just choosing how they present the footage. The thing with editing is they can only edit what they have. If you are always nice, they can’t edit it otherwise
I don’t however think they should be messaged,it’s a tv show, it’s not that deep and they probably all get on well behind the scenes
Awhora and Lawrence barely shut up about it for the whole episode. If they had put that energy into their act they might have been goodWell kinda but not entirely... it's pretty easy to manipulate by editing parts in or out of context and editing parts out completely to make certain reactions look overly emotional or emotionless (like they apparently did with Ginny & Sister Sisters 'heart to heart') editing isn't as simple as just choosing what to show and what not to show. ...yes but my point is that we have no idea what might have been said by any other queens or edited out to fuel that. As you've said, it clearly bothered them both a lot to continue taking issue with it, it seems unlikely to me for the simple act order alone to evoke such a reaction from not just one person but two. But again, we only see snippets so it's impossible to tell or judge them fairly.Awhora and Lawrence barely shut up about it for the whole episode. Yeah for sure, I think Lawrence is actually quite soft out of drag and would be quite hurt. After the Sister Sister trolling a couple of weeks ago, I hoped people would take it down a notch. Do I think Lawrence (and Awhora) gave Ellie a hard time? Yes, and it's obviously going to be edited to amp up the drama. Do I think Lawrence is a bully though? No.That’s actually made me quite sad that it’s come to that. Surely everyone must know by now reality shows are heavily edited to influence audiences.
Also the irony in those tweets calling Lawrence a bully and horrible person when they are abusing her online
It doesn’t matter what was said, awhora and Lawrence threw a hissy fit, the footage is there....yes but my point is that we have no idea what might have been said by any other queens or edited out to fuel that.
