Also re: the look - it becomes very predictable. The secret to longevity is a bit of reinvention and evolution. It’s fine to recognise someone from a distinctive style. If you can predict what they’re going to wear it’s boring. Lawrence has the same silhouette each week. Ellie’s look rarely vary.

Drag Race fans on Twitter need to take up meditation or something. They're hounding the contestants, saying nasty things as if LC or A'Whora personally afronted them. Jesus.

It's a TV show! One that was filmed months ago and tthe contestants have dealt with any hard feelings there might have been. Why do people get their knickers in a twist so much so that they see fit to send messages to one of the contestants calling them names? It's so cruel. Imagine getting 100s of messages from people within seconds saying all sorts of horrible things about you?

Can people not just celebrate the queens they enjoyed rather than being venemous towards the ones that were annoying?

I'm not on Twitter but that sounds ridiculous. There are places where you can freely discuss your opinion on a person or an episode (like we are doing here) without the need to message them directly. Like you say this was months ago for them and the drama is over 😂 Do these people think they are watching in real time? 🤣

Not just that, but the show has been edited in such a way to make them seem bitchy/horrible, I get having an opinion on someone but like you said, at the end of the day it's a TV show

I swear it's the same every week. Awhora was getting tit at the start of the series, then Sister was on the receiving end (for being shady to Awhora, ironically 😂), and now we're back to Awhora plus Lawrence.

There's always gonna be drama and bickering. That's just part of the show. I think it's all water under the bridge for the queens and I'm not gonna make assumptions based on a few arguments!

If they have edited some of Ellie's shadiness out & that's what Lawrence & A'Whora are fuelled by, it's kinda shady on the editors'/producers' part. presenting Lawrence as the clear favourite and then making her look like a complete petty witch is bound to attract hate. It's not right to build someone up as the fave and then make them look like an arse. Keeps DRUK talked about though

I guess at the end of the day, we'll never know what was said behind the scenes, so we'll never know whether they were reacting as it seems - unfairly and stupidly - or whether there was more to it than that

I thought the episode was pretty boring to be honest! I actually laughed most at Tayce but most of them were a bit dry. Lawrence was my favourite at the beginning but now loving Bimini the most. Lawrence has just turned a bit defensive- you're not owed anything and the whole point of being given an advantage is to use it! Even without all that, the fact that he refers to himself as drag royalty is grating and I think the 3 early badges have affected his ego!

The thing with editing is they can only edit what they have. If you don’t kick off and throw a tantrum they can’t edit it.
If you are always nice, they can’t edit it otherwise

I don’t however think they should be messaged,it’s a tv show, it’s not that deep and they probably all get on well behind the scenes

Well kinda but not entirely... it's pretty easy to manipulate by editing parts in or out of context and editing parts out completely to make certain reactions look overly emotional or emotionless (like they apparently did with Ginny & Sister Sisters 'heart to heart') editing isn't as simple as just choosing what to show and what not to show. They can manipulate the actual situation entirely with just choosing how they present the footage.

Awhora and Lawrence barely shut up about it for the whole episode. If they had put that energy into their act they might have been good

I know it can be edited to look like different scenarios but if those two hadn’t constantly bitched about it, it wouldn’t have been edited to make them look bullies.

tayce didn’t get edited that way, because he sucked it up and agreed it was a competition

...yes but my point is that we have no idea what might have been said by any other queens or edited out to fuel that. As you've said, it clearly bothered them both a lot to continue taking issue with it, it seems unlikely to me for the simple act order alone to evoke such a reaction from not just one person but two. But again, we only see snippets so it's impossible to tell or judge them fairly.

That’s actually made me quite sad that it’s come to that. Surely everyone must know by now reality shows are heavily edited to influence audiences.

Also the irony in those tweets calling Lawrence a bully and horrible person when they are abusing her online 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
Yeah for sure, I think Lawrence is actually quite soft out of drag and would be quite hurt. After the Sister Sister trolling a couple of weeks ago, I hoped people would take it down a notch. Do I think Lawrence (and Awhora) gave Ellie a hard time? Yes, and it's obviously going to be edited to amp up the drama. Do I think Lawrence is a bully though? No.

It doesn’t matter what was said, awhora and Lawrence threw a hissy fit, the footage is there.

as above I don’t think they are bullies and I haven’t started disliking awhora or Lawrence for that in particular but I do think they should have spent their time on their act rather than that. No doubt they will still be banging on about it next week too.
