Found it completely bizarre when Lawrence went off on one about “I COULD GO HOME DID U THINK ABOUT THAT” ... Ellie doesn’t owe anyone anything, it’s a competition! And if Lawrence is such an amazing comic, as Bimini said it shouldn’t matter where you’re placed you’ll be funny regardless

I think they all patronise Ellie because she is the youngest. If any of the others did that with the line up it would have been fine.

Having said that, Ellie was a bit tit and the looks are getting samey and boring. I actually think Lawrence should have been in the bottom, too. Context is important; Lawrence amps herself up as a comedy queen but Tayce and Awhora were honest about comedy not being their bag. Despite that, I think they both pulled it off well, whereas Lawrence droned on and on.

It should have been a double shantay, it was a great lip sync. Why doesn’t Ru seem to do that here?

Bimini has to win. They’re honestly one of my all-time favourite queens!
 
Thinking about the double shantay thing, my theory is that UK Drag Race just doesn't have the budget to throw those in as it results in extra episodes. The episode winners get a BADGE for Christ sake, which is nothing compared to the US prizes. So I think Ru doesn't get to make those plot-twist calls for DR UK, like she does in the US
 
I was a bit disappointed with the runways. The drip stand/oxygen mask was done better by Violet Chachki, and I’m sure we’ve had “acne” before too.

Having said that, Bimini was great and totally deserved the win. Could not believe Lawrence threw a hissy fit again when life didn’t go her way. Of COURSE Ellie was going to make shady choices, that was the POINT. Just make sure your comedy is up to scratch love, and you won’t have anything to worry about.

I do like Lawrence, but these moments of brittleness are annoying. Blatantly trying to intimidate and pull rank with Ellie who she sees as beneath her. She was fun to watch during the lip sync though.

I think whoever said she’s a big fish in a small pond is right. Total superiority complex, and can’t handle any of the bumps she faces in the road to the final. And her runways feel really samey. So many bodysuits and corsets.

Lip sync was a set up - besties and former lovers having to do You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me 🙄 Ellie shouldn’t have been safe.

I agree. I actually think Lawrence is funnier when she doesn't have to think about it. Still like her because I'm Scottish and it's in my DNA to support Scotland at everything!

Would be just as happy if Bimini won.
 
I love Tayce, she cracks me up but A'whora had really grown on me too and it did totally look like a set up to have that song and those 2 performing it. I couldn't see why Tayce was in the bottom, I thought she looked amazing on the runway and she was definitely funnier than Ellie was in the challenge.

Ellie is not a favourite of mine, neither is Lawrence tbh. Ellie came across as really immature in choosing the line up....be shady and own it instead of still trying to make them your pals and Lawrence was acting like a loon!

Bimini for the win, I love everything they do!

Tayce grew on me this episode. I liked that she didn’t jump on the bandwagon and take any excuse to witch. Also liked that Bimini stayed out of it (as per usual, she’s my fave. cba with the “smash the patriarchy” line tho as it’s been done to death. She could’ve said the same thing without using the buzzword phrase)

I miss Veronica for keeping it real - she used to call out any OTT moany BS. With her gone, there’s so much more whinging and petty tit and queens blaming each other for their own failures. She defo would’ve told A’Whora and Lawrence to wind their necks in in this episode. Dunno how much stand up success she would’ve had though
 
I’ve said it earlier in thread but there’s a huge difference between being shady and being an nasty witch. That line was so far crossed tonight (for me anyway) and I’m actually quite mad with Lawrence and A’whoras behaviour. I’ve had it with some of these queens acting like spoilt brats spitting their dummies out. LC and A’whora would of used the exact same tactics as Ellie for literally the exact same reasons. The order (theoretically) shouldn’t matter if your set is strong enough. I hope these queens are watching and taking note of their behaviour because it’s only going to bite them on the arse in the future.
 
Do you think Lawrence was letting the pressure get to him and that’s why he snapped, especially as it was a comedy challenge? He had 3 straight wins then went into the bottom 2 and then a low placement last week. The 3 wins with the favouritism from Ru probably made him think he was on the track to winning but Bimini is definitely a huge contender now and I think would probably win with audience support as they seem very well liked (given what I read here and Twitter - but obviously Lawrence wouldn’t have been aware of the public opinion)

Yes for sure. Lawrence is very used to being one of the top Glasgow queens and I think he's frustrated that he didn't win either comedy challenge. I've really noticed the pressure in the last couple of episodes. I think it's clear he really wants to win whereas Bimini and Tayce are a lot more chill and relaxed about the competition.

Couldn’t agree more I was thinking the exact same! They definitely think they can bully and pick on her because she’s the youngest.

100% agree with Bimini about well if your content is strong enough does it matter where you go? I think that’s just A’whora and Lawrence not feeling super confident so they’re just choosing to blame Ellie, why were they so angry for??? Really didn’t like to see that side of both of them.

Once again though Ru just puts Lawrence straight through with no thought, he didn’t even go into her performance/look that much it was just like default 👏of course Lawrence is through👏 gets on my nerves that! She could just come out in a bin bag next week with that same bloody silhouette and those shocking eyebrows and it’s like she’s got immunity.

I didn’t find anyone particularly god awful, I surprisingly really liked Tayce’s performance and no one mentioned it but jesus she looked absolutely gorgeous doing her stand up (and the runway of course but that goes without saying), the wig gave me proper Amy Winehouse vibes and the outfit was just fabulous. I actually gasped when I saw her, it was stunning.

Bimini is my favourite and has been the whole series (I lived in Norwich for a few years) but sorry not sorry I wasn’t such a fan of her runway. Don’t get me wrong I love how she changes up her look/hair/makeup every week - that’s a proper drag queen (*cough* Lawrence) but I found the acne thing really gross:ROFLMAO: maybe i’m just an old winger/it’s my tryphobia. LOVED her look in the stand up she was gorgeous but the runway I wasn’t such a fan.

The challenge as a whole was extremely lame imo. I think a roast for one of the judges would’ve been more entertaining.

I hate that there’s no makeover challenge this season. It’s most likely because of covid but they could’ve brought back the previously eliminated contestants as I believe they’re kept in the hotel until filming is complete?
 
Last night's episode has made me not want Lawrence to win even more now. That's been what they've tried to force on us since day 1 with Ruru's fave. I'd be happy for anyone but Lawrence to win.

I also hope last night's episode proved it isn't about the challenge wins and they won't keep you safe. You can go home regardless
 
Lawrence showed her true bleeping colours didn't she. Proper tantrums anytime she doesn't get her own way, it is annoying. Idk why any of them were acting like they wouldn't have thrown Ellie under a bus if they had a chance either. They've been picking on her for ages now, no wonder she decided to do that. I also think it's bollocks that the running order matters that much.

I'm just happy Bimini kept their nose out of it and rose above the drama, my unproblematic fave 😂

Tbf all of the performances were weak in some way or another. I think a roast would have been a better way of doing this challenge.
