Drag Race UK S4

I actually think this is part of the problem with drag race in general as we’ve seen it in previous seasons where they bring on a queen who has a very specific aesthetic and then the judges get annoyed when they aren’t doing something completely different every week, but for some queens that’s basically that’s asking them to change the very essence of who they are. Just because someone only serves a very specific kind of look it doesn’t make them any less of a talented drag queen. I think so long as they can do well in the challenges and their looks aren’t terribly put together then it shouldn’t matter if they are the same silhouette or the same general era or aesthetic.

Pixie comes across as a right nasty piece of work so insincere and horrible comments directed at the other queens.
I must admit I'm a bit bored of the sob fest every week its turning in to x factor
Normally I love boy George but he brought absolutely nothing to that judging panel at all.

I'm gonna be really judgemental here but no wonder Tia dumped Pixie. They're not coming across well at all, especially compared to Tia.

On the Strictly threads there's been some talk of casting a drag queen. Honestly,, I don't think many of the Drag Race Alumni could take the criticism of being on strictly. They all seem to be very sensitive with underlying mental health issues.

And finally, if the same Boy George who appeared on Drag Race turns up in the jungle, ITV are going to be raging. They want the old bitchy George. Don't we all 🤣🤣🤣

💯 % agreed. The Boy phoned it in really didn’t he?
Cheddar ftw for me. Would love to see them do Bowie in any incarnation. Same bone structure, features and really could pull off that androgynous vibe.

Is this the right thread to discuss the ITV programme Queens of the Night???

A few Drag Race Alumni turned up. Asstina, Blu and Kitty. The celebs weren't actually that bad. Apart from the love island guy who was supposed to be dancing but barely moved (never heard of his mentor - some sort of death drop specialist) and one of the Union J guys - how on earth does he earn a living singing??? To be fair, I saw his bandmate in panto - he too was chronic.

It was really no surprise that the two soap actors were fab - Steve from Corrie was brilliant with Ian Beale not far behind him.

One thing that surprised me was how bad the Queens all looked out of drag. I do wonder if it was done on purpose to show the contrast. But even Blu looked terrible. And they're a good looking person.

I've no idea if it'll be a one off or regular series. But drag does seem to be pretty mainstream these days.

I may be barking up wrong tree here but this is my view on it maybe this was a pilot or a one off type thing to see how well it could go and i hope to see it back as a proper season more celebs more drag mentors I'm pleased to see more drag being mainstream over here the 1st uk season winner is doing dancing on ice in the new year im hoping next years im a celeb features one too ie maybe Bimini or awhora or tayce someone like that

Drag has been mainstream for donkeys years! But it always used to be a very working class humour rather than the more sexualised/fashion/death drop American style of drag we are seeing now.
British comedy queen's are far more entertaining than the Ru Paul Americanised drag that is taking over. Ru isn't even a good drag act, needs a huge team to drag Ru up.

You are barking up the right tree! I read one of the queens say that it was indeed a pilot.
