What is this one at ... posting photos of the presents that her patients are gifting her ... the Brown Thomas bag put into the photo 🙈 imagine having a GP that was carrying on so unprofessionally...... 🙄🙄
It’s a bizzare post from a so called medical professional. I would have thought there were codes of ethics to be followed in the medical profession regarding acceptance of gifts.

why would patients have given her all those presents? genuine question. I once gave my Gp a nice bottle of wine at xmas after I had been in with her loads when pregnant... are we meant to give them gifts regularly? Am I the odd one out?

I’ve never gifted a GP anything. The thought would never cross my mind. They get significant funding from the tax payer for the medical card scheme. Like EYEWATERING amounts. I pay a significant amount of tax every month, so I certainly don’t feel the need to gift my GP anything 👍

Its so unprofessional , why did she feel the need to take a photo for her Instagram page for all to see? A private thank you to the person would have been the normal thong to do. There are people struggling to pay the GP visit fee in this country and here is this GP bragging about gifts she was given from patients, I think she is so shallow , showing the Brown Thomas bag aswell . There is no need to put that uncalled pressure on people.

For me whats really odd is that it was a number of gifts, like surely they all didn't come from the same person - if it was more than one person, what was the occasion? Call me suspicious but I actually dont buy it...

The brown Thomas bag was just put in by herself I’d imagine -she’s such a snob if a patient bought her something in pennys that wouldn’t feature … and the meat rant I went onto that page it’s not even from a medical professional or proper research - she clearly has huge issues with food and just using this as an excuse to sell more of her supplements

Even the fire in her new McMansion is fake. Although can’t imagine her cleaning out ashes of a morning and bringing in buckets of coal.
How is she getting away with all the scaremongering about the processed meat and red meat. My haemotologist advised me to eat more red meat as my haemoglobin was so low and he would have my best interests at heart.

How did I missed we moved on.

As for gifts I've a friend he's a surgeon he likes just a nice card... he feels so embarrassed when he receives chocolate or wine or any other gifts... our son was in SCBU and our neighbour is his peads doctor we got a hamper made up of nice treats and fruit the amount of chocolate they get is unreal. But I would not be able to do there job
