Agreed, they both have their own threads already though!

Anyone watch Part of Brooke’s World? Thoughts?
I have. I stumbled upon her channel when we were looking to stay at the Carribean Beach in June and her channel showed up. I watched her room tour and then a few of her getting ready for the CP. I can't tell yet how I feel about her as I only watched 2 videos.

Just watched a video from Camille Marie that popped up as suggested. It’s what she spent in a week as a DCP member.

At the end of the video she totals everything up to $113ish before groceries which she seems to think doesn’t count? Her grocery bill was $111 alone. But she says that will last about two weeks so she’ll only count half of it toward her total (which ends at just over $168).

Ma’am that isn’t how spending works😂 If it’s what you spent in a week, then you include the $111. Because you spent it. Of course she also says she doesn’t know how much groceries should cost because she isn’t used to doing her own shopping. Even though she’s been doing it for nearly half a year.

Please tell me this isn’t the norm for young adults these days. They have to be more self sufficient than this…right?

I fear that this is probably very common, and she may actually be more prepared than most kids due to this... Im guessing mom and dad help a lot of these kids out. I don't see anyone doing this program successfully without additional income from somewhere.

I don’t see how they could afford spending over $200 a week while being paid quite poorly by the mouse…and having very expensive rent deducted automatically from that paycheck.

I can’t remember the channel I found during last summer’s DCP from a gal who was excellent with budgeting. She was quite vocal about her peers being clueless about money. It’s the first job a lot of these people have (which must be a ride awakening). Certainly more for the “experience” than for actually making an income and saving money.
