They're probably tight on time - 1h40 including ads to fit in 11 performances. Probably shorter VTs, less judges comments and less of Stephen's 'jokes' as well.

TBF to Stephen - despite being a bit corny, I do appreciate that he's genuinely trying to bring some humour to the proceedings. All that Phil brought was smugness, and he had zero connection with the judges, pros or celebs. It was like he was a cut above everyone else there. Holly seems noticeably happier as well from the bits I've seen.

I’ve noticed they’ve let Holly do some segments on her own like talking to the friends & family in the audience and talking to the other skaters on that raised platform bit. Since the reboot Holly & Phil had to do everything together

Vanessa J is a big name in the skating world - I have high hopes for her with Greg. But I only see her being around a year or two. Annette really seems an Alexandra replacement, not sure that’s a good thing.

I bet good money that Vanessa B feels threatened by Amani who fits the same ‘type’ as her, and has a contender to boot…

I can see this being the DOI equivalent of when Vito joined the Strictly pros. Gio wasn’t the main Italian Stallion anymore
 
I have such mixed feelings on Vanessa B. I think a lot of people now don’t want to see her do well because of the blatant favouritism toward her by production. But she’s also very much giving off ‘always the bridesmaid, never the bride’. They can give her as many contenders as they want, but she hasn’t won in seven years (since her first season) and someone else always beats her partner to the crown. It’s probably hell to get to the final every single year and never pull it off considering how much effort, time and energy she gives to each partner every year.
That being said,I don’t think the producers can get away with what they do with her much longer - everyone’s clocked on, and she’s getting a lot of hateful comments.

I don't think she'll win with Miles either so it is kinda turning into a bit of a never-ending cycle.

As long as their bodies both hold up, I can see Adele vs Eddie for Bolero, with Ryan in 3rd.
