It's been back a few years now but I still can't get used to the fact the audience is the other way around! I don't know why, but it total kills the atmosphere, it looks like they're skating around an empty studio with audience clapping dubbed in

same!!! the audience set up is horrendous and probably the number one thing that makes this show look cheap - i truly don’t get why they don’t loop the seating around so that they’re also on the other side of the ice. strictly hugely benefits from having the audience surround the dance floor like that

though it is wild that this show is almost identical to strictly in set up and format….. and yet manages to get it all so wrong.
