Still smarting that Brendan and Brendyn were only allowed one week together. I maintain that would have been a fantastic partnership. That one skate they had together was brilliant!

someone my husband knows is a contestant this year so he insisted on watching it. It’s the first time we’ve ever watched it and I agree I can’t put my finger on it- I think it might be P&H! I’m enjoying the skating though.

There’s just something about it that feels so lacklustre in comparison to Strictly.

it is weird that it’s basically the exact same show but almost every aspect of DOI falls flat in comparison to strictly.

it just looks so cheap, the stage set up is bad, we don’t get attached to the pros in the same way (which is a big selling point of strictly imo), not having some kind of live band doesn’t help, holly dresses like she’s going to the oscar’s every week. it’s just weird. they also need to drop the dancing to bolero thing.

it should work! it’s strictly but with a huge amount of added danger! but it just….. doesn’t.

I thought Brendyn was with Lady Leshurr? She was great, improved week by week and got into the final.
