Dancing On Ice 2022

Oti doesn’t suit this show either. She has a fab personality and this borefest is not the best platform for her.

The lads didn't let me down. What a performance of Jersey Boys. Straight people can do same sex partnerships perfectly well without it being a box ticking exercise. I still missed the lovely Vanessa though :D

The 2 B's worked better together as a same sex couple than Matt & H because Matt & H played into the flamboyancy (which is fine) and acted as a different sex couple (had very obvious male & female roles ...matt as the man and H as the woman) like H coming out dressed in a bloody Swan dress / outfit. The 2 B's came out as a same sex couple but didn't play into that doing lifts etc and just came across so powerful and strong on the ice and that's why I think it worked well. I don't think i've articulated myself very well but hope you can all understand what i'm getting at.

Yes you've articulated it perfectly. I agree this is why this partnership works so well. I really wish it could continue because it's taking single sex couples to a whole new level on DOI. Rather than trying to replicate traditional M/F moves they're performing as two equally sized, strong men. I'd love to see what they could do over the course of the remaining weeks. The difference in Brendan's skating after just one week together was phenomenal.
 
Glad Bez has gone at last. He looked like someone with a head injury doing some sort of rehabilitation. Bez was not entertaining and its ridiculous when more competent couples were voted out before him

I really enjoyed watching them skate together. The celebrity skated as well as the professional and it was a really good routine.

I didn’t like Matt and H. Their coupling was about their sexuality which I didnt think had anything to do with a Saturday night family entertainment show about ice skating. I don’t mind watching two men skating together or two woman as long as it’s entertaining. What they do in their private life has no relevance to skating

Brendan and Brendyn were really good skating together. They should bin Vanessa and keep that partnership instead!
they were so different to H and Matt. I cringed watching them just because they made out they were doing something so amazing because two gay guys were skating together! It could have been amazing but they went about it the wrong way, like making such a big deal about it and having H playing the female role when there was no need.
We saw that with the 2 B’s on Saturday, they didn’t make a big deal out of 2 guys skating together and they didn’t do a male/female thing. Just 2 men skating, regardless of gender or sexuality and it was really good to watch!
