Watching tonight I prefer when there were minimal theme weeks! Sometimes it just has to be about the technical skating IMO

Yeah I thought they were being allowed back but they weren't mentioned in the line up for next week. So they're obviously not?

I think the contestants were much better when Chris and Jane coached and choreographed every week instead of being on the judging panel.

Watching that has put me off watching next week

I feel like they’ve shot themselves on the foot by reminding us how good it used to be

One of my all time favourite skates was Kieran Bracken and Melanie Lambert (2007 I think?!) with Billie Jean. Loved it!

I think even the set up was way better. The chandeliers, the stairs. There was no budget. Now it’s done on the cheap, won’t get proper judges! I prefer Jane and Chris not on the panel but then again, it would cost money to get two new judges they just seem boring and bland

The original set was better because it was supposed to replicate a proper arena/skating rink. Have you ever been to an arena or skating rink where they have a big LED screen at the back? It looks like a bleeping video arcade in Blackpool. So tacky.

The rink looked bigger as well back then.

I'm glad they're not back because I don't think it'd be fair to anyone else? It did seem like once you got COVID you were out but I wasn't sure if they were going to sneak round it with the week off.
