I think LL should have stayed tonight. She got the first 40 and I’d say in previous series it wouldn’t have deserved a 40 but compared to what’s been served up so far this year, it was one of the best. LL always gave so much performance than Colin, and yes skating is important obviously but as the audience is generally made of non-pro skaters, we want to be entertained not necessarily see the tiny intricacies of skating footwork.

Oh and I thought the very first pro dance was going to be an amazing contemporary piece when it was set to Mad World but then as soon as they appeared as clowns I clicked fast forward. My first thought when I saw the pros in various work outfits that it was going to be an emotional piece about lockdown but nope, just some random piece of “comedy” with a really baiting whistle every three seconds!

Me too I thought at the beginning it was a political piece about the burnout of key workers 😂🙈
 
I completely forgot it was on tonight!
Shows how awful this season is...I used to love it so much I even had it on the iPad watching it whilst I was in active labour 😂

I don’t have a favourite at all this year so I’ll vote for the best skater tonight.
 
Tonight is the first Sunday in ages that I could actually watch it live (or as near to live as possible while also being able to skip through advert breaks and pointless competition waffle) and I’m really not bothered. This year has been such a disappointment on so many levels. The sooner it’s over with the better!
