I know this is off topic a bit but I just realised today Leanne and Toyah aren’t actually sisters at all.I was watching classic Corrie when it clicked.Please tell me I’m not alone in thinking Les was both their dads

Les Battersby was Leanna's father and Stella ( Michelle Collins ) was her mum, so unbelievable! Ridiculous casting! Janice was Toyah's Mum. So they are stepsisters, I believe..

In Classic Corrie most of the older characters have left over the last couple of weeks - Maude and Maureen, Bill Webster, Percy Sugden, Fiona the hairdresser, Don Brennan.

I was shocked as I always thought they were half sisters as in Les being both their dads Janice Leanne’s stepmum so that’s why they all had the same surname.Shocked Toyah was not Les daughter.

Anyone else think the storyline of the quads was ridiculous. They were never shown (before covid rules) and now just mentioned in passing. And I can't stand Gemma so thankfully she hasnt been on screen for a week!

Yeah I thought the story was so not needed Gemma with twins would’ve been fine.We did see the babies when she was postnatal.I bet they wish they never bothered with quads as it’s probably impossible to film with the COVID restrictions.

I seem to remember in their first episode they both called Les and Janice Mum and Dad and I got the impression they were full sisters. Then more recently they've been calling them by their names and Janice said to Les something along the lines of "she's your daughter" about Leanne.
