It's not just the teeth, it's the filler she has around the mouth area. She looks like a duck billed platypus

It was the little face she pulled after she said it as well. She kind of stuck her tongue out as if she did something naughty. I wonder if the actress went off script and ad libbed it as a joke initially but they decided to keep it in as it was a nice nod to the actress’s past

I wondered that. Perhaps it was just too good an opportunity to miss. There was definitely a little smirk.

I can't give the Corrie writers the credit for that line.
