I think these soap awards are a load of shite anyway. Probably because all the soaps are shite nowadays. I only watch Corrie now, but prefer the classic episodes. I used to love Eastenders, but stopped watching a few years ago when it became the Danny Dyer show. Emmerdale is ok now and again.

The soap awards don't take into account the decent soap actors, just the popular ones. I hope they did a tribute to June Brown though.

They did a obituary montage of all the soap actors (and in the case of Kay Mellor, former soap writer) who have died since the last soap awards in 2019. Some just had pictures with their name and the soap/s they were associated with, others had clips shown like Barbara Windsor, Paula Tilbrook (Betty Eagleton from Emmerdale), Johnny Briggs (Mike Baldwin from Corrie) and June Brown was the last clip they showed and the one they finished on

I was confused about that. They made it sound as though Summer was cheating on Aadi and was using him but Summer has made it clear for a long time that she only sees him as a friend now. Summer did tell Aadi about Aaron but she also told Aadi sometime later that Aaron ran off when she spoke to him about her eating disorder.

Not sure if Aadi knew that Aaron was back on the scene again but even so at no point did Summer lead Aadi on or make him think something could happen between them. As I remember it, Aadi volunteered the revision cards, Summer never asked for them

On another note it’s weird how Summer’s first 2 boyfriends have both been guys whose names begin with a double A
