I don't understand either. Surely all they have to say is they gave her money because she was threatening to take Glory away from them all. It says more about Grace that she's willing to sell her baby than it does about Ma and Pa Bailey.

Grace has form for fraud. Just say that you gave her the money to help with the baby and she bolted. I mean yeah, it's a lie, but who are the police more likely to believe?

Soap characters never act rationally when they're being blackmailed. Normal people would have reported Grace to the police/social services from the word go. It annoys me that they think their own son is so thick he won't understand what Grace is doing.

I know!! That's what I don't get , why is it dirty "buying" your granddaughter, what else were they supposed to do let her Grace run off with her knowing she would be neglected , I know they could phone social services but very much doubt Michael would have got custody and he's an idiot anyway would probably be on Grace's side

He is though!! 🤣 he was welcoming her with open arms and acting all normal after she had been away for weeks
