** Possible Spoilers re. Lydia Storyline **
Take this with a pinch of salt, but I was talking to someone yesterday about the Lydia/Adam/Sarah storyline and they said they’d seen somewhere that there will be a twist where it’s revealed that Lydia is transgender. Now, I don’t know how accurate that is because I’ve not seen it reported anywhere but it kind of makes sense in terms of Adam not remembering her, and the statement of the producer saying he was doing a Fatal Attraction story with gender politics. It doesn’t explain the son though. Just wondered what everyone thought to this.

That’s why I was a bit taken aback when it was mentioned as I couldn’t see that happening either, but it just got me thinking. I’m not sure what source it came from as they just said one of those TV mags.

I’m hoping it’s not going to be the typical cliche of her son being Adam’s, and that there’s more too this storyline. It just seems that she took the relationship more seriously than he did back in uni.

It is, I've missed about a month and a half and just gave up and started again this week, it was too boring to catch up with.

I don't think they would do a transgender storyline on this day and age without a transgender actor/actress. I think they'd get a lot of flack if they did the Hayley storyline now with a female actress playing the part
 
Saw this on Reddit - what do you all think? Any other thoughts?
