Oh right, I don’t watch the others so didn’t realise but yes assumed it was for Climate week

I feel like it's all a bit lost on me because I only watch corrie. I blinked and missed the bit with the Emmerdale crossover and just thought the Maria rant was embarrassing. It all seemed a bit preachy and forced.

I've been mistaken for having a scouse accent before and I'm from Boro area

I don't know how I mistook the accent, especially as I'm not far from there.

Did anyone watch eastenders? They were watching Maria’s rant go viral. Guessing coronation street may do the same and people on the street are watching the little girl from Eastenders speech about climate change go viral too

I've not watched EastEnders for years, I can't do with all the shouting and depressing episodes. I tuned in on Monday to see if they showed Corrie, as I saw Hollyoaks on Emmerdale and Emmerdale on Corrie. I thought they show Maria. I saw that girl outside some burger place, no idea who the blonde guy was who owned it. I was shocked to see Sean Slater in it. The last time I saw him on TV was in True Blood. I also saw Rainie (Tanya's sister) who didn't seem to be a junkie anymore. The last time I saw her in it, she's got Phil addicted to crack and he got over it in a week. Oh and Rainie seemed to be with the guy from him and her with the son named Luke.

Nina is bloody awful to watch. Everything she says sounds sarcastic even if isn't meant to. More actors like Roy and Evelyn and less actors like Nina and Jack please Corrie bosses.

With Nina, I get really irritated by the eye rolls with every bit of dialogue we are given. Yes we get it, you’re angsty!

Everything she says has a tinge of ‘I know more than you’ arrogance about it. She’s got this strange sarcy tone when she’s speaking so I never know whether she’s being sincere or not

I feel the same. She's had a lot more screen time the past few months and I think she needs to be rested for a bit.

I'm really not digging the Asha and Nina thing at all.

All I see with Abi is her huge veneers and lip filler. Oh and the manicured mails

Curtis had the fake heart attack cos there was no exam to go. He had to accept Steve’s offer of lift after trying to say he’d probably missed it. Yet another storyline of a woman being emotionally manipulated. Hope they see it through this time!

I’m sick of hearing:

“this person in Weatherfield……..” (then shows video to someone else)
“this person in Walford………” (then shows video to someone else)
“this person in Yorkshire………” (then shows video to someone else)

It’s all so cringey. By next week all these eco awareness projects they are doing will all be forgotten about
