I didn't realise Jack was meant to be 10. They are either going to have to age the character or get a new actor.

Liam is meant to be older than Jack

Liam: DOB 03/07/09 (12 yrs old)
Jack: DOB 06/09/10 (10 yrs old, soon to be 11)

That’s the problem when you have an older actor playing younger (especially when you employ them before they’ve hit puberty in real life) eventually they may start to look their age and it will stand out like a sore thumb when around other characters who are meant to be about the same age as them

Yes she's the same actress. What I meant was Corrie aged them by a year - they are supposed to be 15, not 16.

Why they don't get actors the "right" age to the character they are playing is beyond me, the new actress playing Summer (16) is 23... Jack looks way older than 10

Lots of actors and actresses don't play their real ages. In real life Gail is 70 and Audrey is 77!
