And Grace. She just cannot act at all.

I can just about cope with Michael but Grace is appalling. When she was packing her bags to leave I was thinking 'I'll hold the door and call you a taxi'.

'Jack's' voice is definitely breaking but that still doesn't explain his terrible acting. I always feel bad for criticising the kids but some just aren't cut out for it. Jack P Shepherd has been in it since a kid and he is great. You only have to look at new Adi compared to old Adi to see what a difference it makes. I can see a new Max appearing too.

I never realised he was 14. I thought he looked much older than Liam in those scenes and so much taller.

I think the problem too is that he is trying to play a ten year old and doesn't have the acting skills. The current Sarah was 17 when she was brought in to play a 13 year old for the teen pregnancy storyline. She looked very young for her age and could carry the storyline. When an older Jack was cast a few years ago for the amputation plot they obviously didn't think ahead to puberty.

I agree about Jack. His scenes last night were painful to watch, the acting was school play level. I think they definitely need to recast him as he is also looking much to old to be playing a 10 year old. Nothing against the kid but he’s just not cutting it and it really affected the show last night because he was featured a fair bit. Give a kid with some actual talent a chance.

Yes. https://coronationstreet.fandom.com/wiki/Kyran_Bowes
He and Hope are both playing ten year olds.
The actress playing Hope is pretty much the same age. Hope was born Dec 2010, the actress Jan 2011. She's a good little actress too. Jack however is not, and looks waaaay too old. They either need to recast him or age up the character (I swear the Alahan twins got aged up).

Speaking of Sarah-Lou, surely the current Sarah is going to pop up in the classic episodes soon? It's bizarre to think what is going to become of the little girl on screen now!

How did the director/producers allow it to air though? They saw exactly what we saw. Surely they should have thought "that looked shite, let's do it again"?

It's the year on classic Corrie when Sarah Lou gets pregnant.

I don’t know what they were thinking. Also several episodes this week were shot weirdly, like they were trying to be all arty.
I noticed when Emma was lurking in the pub garden listening to Ty and Fiz that the filming style went a bit weird, then it carried on back in the street when Liam was having his asthma attack

It was like they were using a shaky handheld camera and as if you were watching it from a characters point of view. Very jarring!
