I love classic corrie more than modern corrie... Its there a separate thread on here for it?

I have to say I usually loathe Fiz and think Jennie McAlpine is a terrible actress but I think she's been brilliant in the last few episodes and has even managed to make me feel a little bit sorry for Fiz!

Agreed, I think it's a very realistic take on the storyline. Tyrone had a moment of madness, I don't think he genuinely wanted to have an affair, he just got a bit lost in his ways. Fiz's reaction about her own looks and life in comparison to Alina is a very clever route to go down.

The MLM storyline is pathetic, I hope their house of cards come all tumbling down. There's a sub-reddit called anti MLM, and the stories on there are shocking!!! These companies are disgusting, unscrupulous bastards. Corrie characters are having a few snidey remarks towards Sean, but ultimately they are now showing Sean succeeding in a pyramid scheme. I hate to think how many people are using this storyline to their advantage and recruiting downlines off the back of it.

I think they are going to have to show the MLM tumbling down around Sean because they've already shown a little bit about how it exploits vulnerable people when Gemma was involved. Showing Daisy getting involved and openly scheming about it too is awful. I think it would be more realistic if he tried to recruit more people from the street instead of all these people we've never seen. Then they could show the impact in a more meaningful way.

I hope they don't show Sean raking in the cash, I think he's daft enough to believe it will happen and Rhydian will keep stringing him along and building his hopes up. Maybe he'll take on a lifestyle the can't afford on the false promise of all the money he's going to make.

I'm the same but I really did feel for Fiz last night. Jenny McAlpine did a great job.

Has she forgotten that Tyrone slept with Gemma? I expected that to be brought up.

I'm also enjoying Will Mellor. I did laugh when he told Leanne to stop moaning and put the kettle on.

I am so sick of watching Leanne though. Talk about a character overload. She really does need to go to France for a while or jail. I'm not sure why the writers felt it necessary to go from the Oliver storyline straight to this drugs one.

I'm quite liking the Imran and Kelly relationship. That has potential.

I'm assuming they are short of characters due to Covid and actors being being old or shielding but Corrie is generally very weak at the moment.

I like Will Mellor too and I don't mind the storyline but agree it should have involved different characters. I don't get why it had to be all about Leanne and it couldn't have just been about Simon or one of the other teens. Teens being groomed by dealers does happen, but how many middle aged mums get dragged in?!
