I watch classic Corrie as well and it’s honestly just soooo much better. Honestly the current writers need a boot. The Rovers has absolutely no atmosphere now when it used to be really busy. I appreciate in 2024 people can’t really go to the pub for a pint on their lunch break but still Even in the evenings it’s just boring.

I was watching the old episode with Katy’s family all rowing between the cobbles and their house, and even though it was ridiculous at least it’s dramatic and holds your attention for five minutes!
