The continuety (sp?) errors are shocking on corrie.

Sally/Gail friendship just stopped.
Dev/Ken dierdre & Tracy shagging forgotten
Max and Harry being half brothers
Where is Simon?
Jack's leg amputation
The ex wife and kid Kevin lost
Todd/Sarahs baby
Roy/Tracy = Amy would not be forgotten and forgiven in real life as quickly as they did on the street.
How many serial killers has Gail had involvement with?
Jenny kidnapping Jack


There are hundreds, characters stopped being developed decades ago, now it's just rinse and repeat

Old coronation street was much better and I don’t know if it’s just cause the storylines were so good even if it was something so simple it made you excited for the next episode or if the acting was a bit better but coronation street nowadays isn’t anywhere as good as it used to be. Yeah there’s still good actors and good storylines here and there but most of the time it’s quite boring or things are rushed. The actor who plays Max isn’t a good actor and it’s such a shame because if he was a brilliant actor then him and David could have great and funny storylines like how the relationship was with Gail and David when he was growing up one minute he’s trying to kill her, next minute he’s sending birthday cards from her dead husband who tried to kill the family and then the two of them are getting along again. That time of coronation street was so good.

Another storyline I was thinking about recently was Tyrone being abused by his ex Kirsty I think that storyline was sad but done very well. There was a storyline from before I was born but I watched it on YouTube so I don’t know if anyone remembers it but Gail and Martin hire a nanny who is crazy obsessed with Martin and trying to take Gail’s place as the mother the acting was great.

I know Coronation street has humour in the show that’s what it’s known for and at times we all need that it’s good but I do think if they did some storylines like how they used to it would be better. I know the acid attack was a dark storyline with all the stalking the acting was good but I feel for a while Coronation Street has not been that great.
