I enjoyed seeing Ralf Little working at the same care home that Martin was working in a few weeks ago

I also liked seeing Peter Kay as a shop fitter when Fred took over the corner shop in episodes from 1997. We of course will see Peter in another role a few years from where we are in Classic Corrie as a date for Shelley (Sally Lindsay’s character)

Derek died on 7th April 1997 and yesterday’s 2nd episode was 28th June 1999 so that’s more than 2yrs & 2 months of episodes in 10 months

Richard Hillman comes in after Alma’s death He pretends to be her cousin at the funeral. I don’t think it’s for a few years yet.

I had a few episodes to catch up on so my wee observations:

1. Janice, what were you thinking girl?! I would’ve been out the door with Tractor Boy faster than Emily Bishop going up a tree on the Red Rec!

2. Sopheh has gone rogue!! If she was going to lock anyone in a cupboard, she could’ve started with her dad and told him she’d only let him out if he shaved his beard off.

3. Even the back of Mike’s head nuzzling into Linda gave me the heave.

4. Whose boss is going to let their staff phone Canada for an hour?!

5. I quite like the wee friendship between Gail and Janice.
