it was horrendous tbh. I flinched so much at les actually using the f word around todd and karl

and I know ive just poked fun at jack dragging up upthread but the language used about hayley by some people (sonia!) was unforgivable

It was a strange couple of episodes, because at first it seemed progressive with them all telling Les to shut up, but then the whole bowls discussion was just wow.

I almost expected when he turned around a big bolt of thunder & lightning to strike behind him to give that added horror movie style of terror

I feel like in the last few years homephobia especially racism and xenophobia have ramped up to painful levels especially in teenagers and on Tiktok!

I have really enjoyed watching this from about 1988, but I do think it's probably at the point where i stopped watching it 20 years ago I guess it's where it changed its format. Storylines are definitely being dragged out more, not so much humour. You can see where it it starts to go downhill.
