After 47 years I have finally given up on the new Coronation Street which is an absolute shame because classic Coronation Street is brilliant. These two episodes were so well written.

Poor Fred! He was so upset. Betrayed by a friend, the woman he thought could love him and even worse, a son who could have said “I told you so”. Excellent acting by John Savident in the market scene.
Just a shame it was upstaged by Gail and Eileen.

I feel for Sarah though Gail seems more upset about Todd kissing Nick than what he’s done to her.

And she seemed more annoyed with Eileen too and seemed more angry that she knew about it then Sarah being lied to. I think being convinced to have another baby is the worst part.
