It’s such a shame that current Corrie has none of the fun that these ones have. I really look forward to these episodes, sad I know!! 😁
I'm the same, if I've got catch ups to watch, I always pick classic over today's Corrie first!! There's no real characters or humour in today's Corrie, I'm actually getting fed up with it!

We have just come back from Spain so I had loadsss to watch (loved it) now I'm down to last few eps I like to save them / make a cuppa at the break 😂😂
Unlike regular Corrie where I fast forward most of it

I’m about a week behind but agree with you all about Martin Platt, what a complete twit! I can’t remember him being so bad the first time round. I wanted to punch him when he went to Gail crying when Rebecca had gone off to Dubai, poor Gail. I’m sure Rebecca comes back at some point, for a short stint.
No wonder David is off the rails 😂

The episodes in Blackpool are the best in a long time. Malcom Hebden (Norris) stole every scene he was in, I never realised what a fantastic character he was.
The sun block on his nose for the journey as if he was going to Australia 😂.

I remembered him to be a nasty busybody and Blanche to be sarky and hilarious but it’s definitely the opposite way around so far!

Mondays episode with Noris and Vera in the competition had me doubled over laughing especially the way he glided across the dance floor like he was on roller skates 😂
I love the innocence of Tyrone’s and Maria’s relationship. Good to see Linda’s made attempts to hide that forehead with a fringe

On the ITV programme they showed after Norris died, someone mentioned that he was dragged along the floor on a mattress to create that shot

Norris is dead?! 🥺

(I know Malcolm Hebden isn’t I just didn’t realise Norris was)

They killed him off, off screen, in September last year. They had a on screen funeral for him

The actor has retired from acting I think a couple of years ago and the powers that be decided to kill off his character

I don’t see why he couldn’t have just lived off screen in the old peoples home forever more
