I’m just catching up on last week’s episodes. I knew what was coming but oh my god how horrific.

I went from crying with Sarah Lou when she gave birth to absolutely full on ugly sobbing with Alison. I’m pregnant myself and now wish I had skipped this episode 😢😢😢
I have to say, I'm delighted to see your original avatar is back !

Martin is really doing my head in. I hate the way he stands really close to people and sticks his face right up close to theirs when he speaks. He did it with that nurse today and it was really creepy!
He is truly awful. I hadn't realised how much of a twit he was the first time around. The way he spoke to Gail - I'd say he was worse than Richard Hillman in the hierarchy of her husbands 🤣

2000 Gail is so much nicer than the modern day Gail. Mind I don’t watch regular. I used to til that time she came back from Thailand or somewhere and was just weird!
Modern Gail is a shadow of the character we're seeing in classic Corrie. The transformation happened in the 2010s, much like Deirdre she was bastardised and written for a laugh.

I really wish the writers would watch these episodes they are now airing to remind themselves what a decent cast they had. Some beautiful acting.

She’s been a caricature of a character for the past few years.
The same happened with Deidre, don’t know why, I certainly don’t know any women that have become so pathetic as they got older.
I’d say the reverse is true with the women I know.
