Loving your screenshots. But do you really doubt their sincerity? They’ve got soppy songs, big speeches about how they’ve been their entire life…….. until…… NOW! and everything.

More importantly what did you make of the old lady next door’s boyfriend’s accent. It’s most bizarre!

I love Elf, Miracle on 34th St, The Holiday, the new Grinch and my absolute fave is Last Christmas.

Non Christmas: New Year’s Eve, Sex and the City (because of the NYE scene and Brigit Jones.

This Is Christmas on Now TV/Sky is another great new Christmas film. I mean a proper one not Netflix type. Heartwarming but more in the holiday/love actually way

Possibly even better than Your Christmas or Mine on Amazon.

1. I’d vote for love actually.
2. it’s weird how Die Hard is known as a Xmas movie now. Maybe we need a new category.
3. I don’t have Now or Sky unfortunately.
4. But I do have Amazon prime video on my phone. So am enjoying Your Christmas or Mine in little bursts thanks to your suggestion
5. And kind of enjoying Home for Christmas on Netflix which is a series rather than film. It’s ok rather than unmissable and always weird when dubbed and subtitled into English by different people in v different ways. (Eg subtitle ‘I’m not sure’ = dub ‘F… right off!’ (I may be exaggerating) And I’m sure they use tech so it looks like they’re speaking English in the first place. All v disconcerting.

Yes i’m loving it. I know Tim Allen can be controversial but he is great as Santa and he really fulfils my 90’s xmas nostalgia. Mrs claus looks great, hasn’t aged a day since the movies it seems!
