I thought Sam’s choice of street food seemed designed to get her kicked off. If her sister had died maybe this was a way of letting her leave with dignity or something?

I read that Sam’s sister died shortly after filming, but she’d helped Sam practice the cottage pie beforehand.
Sam’s had tough times; I can’t help liking her - she’s a trouper.
However, I aways think you can tell when a contestant checks out of the competition and is ready to go!
I get that Jamellia is the better cook, but I felt that Locky was unlucky to go; he’d already improved, and it didn’t seem there was much difference in quality between his and Jamellia’s dishes last night.
On another day there would have an obvious disaster dish, like Terry’s, and Locky would have stayed.

I watch the judging panel in a whole new light after listening to Rylan on Off Menu… he won’t eat anything that lives in water so not sure he was doing much tasting this week with seafood boil, fish with shrimp and scallops with cockles on the menu…

Interesting - as though I don't like the person who went, I was amazed they sent through without question a person who put in a tablespoon of salt instead of sugar in their dish.
Gregg seems incredibly lenient to that Emmerdale woman for some reason.
