Thought's after tonight's main show (will watch L&L on catch up later):
- Louis DOES know that it was Fern: he said "hmm, disloyal!" as soon as he got in the diary room and realised what the snake meant. I don't think he would think anyone else other than Fern would be disloyal for nominating him. Louis is astute. There's no way all the other housemates have twigged but he hasn't, so I think producers have had a word with him to pretend he doesn't know.
- Louis is feeling his oats now that he keeps being saved, despite constantly being nominated and booed by the crowd. He knows he's the marmite pantomime villain, and I expect him to ramp up his behaviour going forward, despite his claims to be not at all fake. Zeze's account of what he was like up in the gallery with her reinforces my opinion on this.
- All four housemates up for eviction have now proved their worth, entertainment wise.
- Despite Nikita attempting to fly under the radar - and succeeding until recently - I think viewers are starting to realise he's a little bit false and overly aware of himself and his public image. He seems like he's possibly sneaky. He's potentially one wrong move from tipping himself into villainy; however, I think there's a lot of existing public goodwill towards him, and I'm finding it interesting to see how he will play this going forwards. He is revealing himself to be very astute about the other housemates, like Louis is.
- Marisha was one of the boring ones originally, but now there's less housemates and we're having more time to see her, she does get involved in the house dynamics, and I have enjoyed watching her and getting to know her. She can be funny at times and the things she says are meaningful. She also has a story arc, with her being considered one of the house's angels, to revealing herself as intent on winning, to now being nominated a lot, and it's intriguing to see how she's dealing with it all and how it all unfolds.
- Fern and Zeze are good housemates, enough said. Unless anything changes I'll probably be voting for them, but I may switch from one of them to Nikita depending on tomorrow's footage.
- Having said that, I didn't like Fern's reasons for nominating. It seems like they are shallow and untrue reasons, because she doesn't have a real problem with anybody else in the house, and she doesn't want to seem mean.
- Fern's reasons for evicting Louis were similarly insincere, and I suspect she just wanted to choose him because she knows he's hated, and doesn't want to make herself look bad by getting rid of someone well-liked.
- Big Brother wouldn't have done that twist if Fern had evicted someone less essential, like Bradley or Colson.
- What was the point of Nikita and Bradley's childish and unfunny performance? Are they desperate to get themselves on the footage with as little controversy as possible?
- I did like Bradley during his nominations, and I wish he would give actual thoughts and opinions outside of the diary room instead of just jumping around like a 5 year old on E-numbers.
