Reminds me of my mum’s mum seeing my dad for the first time in ages when we went abroad and the first thing she says is “You put on weight”

Always. I used to take her the bingo every Friday night and her favourite thing was telling me how much weight people had put on. ‘Size of her’ ‘she’s the size of a house’
When I started wearing make up as a 13 year old she told me my face looked squint. First time wearing heels infront of her at a family wedding and she told me I looked ridiculous and was walking with my knees bent. That comment about the heels has gave me a complex ever since. May I add my granny was always a size 14/16. Never slim

Fern's being childish. She clearly sat beside Nikita waiting for him to explain why he nominated her. But why should he? They all have to pick someone. If she wanted an explanation she should ask instead of sitting there waiting then throwing the potato back and walking off.
