Well that is a story I never expected to learn.

Big Kids was iconic! Loved that show as a kid. Might have to go see if YouTube can oblige me with a few episodes to watch.

I havent watched a single second of this but
I am feeling it isn't anywhere near as trashy or sleazy as the the ch5 version.

Am I right?

But even the ch5 version wouldn't be as trashy or sleazy as it used to be, if it were to air now in oh-so-pc, can't be seen drinking or smoking on Tele-2024

I think she was surprised that Fern wasn't fawning on her on the night that they were chatting .
I like Fern too. I think she is being herself.

Ekin-Su makes sure to be with the more well known ones, especially Louis and Sharon (for maximum screen time, imo), and maybe she doesn't think Fern falls into that category, or something.

The thing I would most hate in there would be sharing a bedroom with loads of strangers.

And Colson and Gary are sharing a bed. Now that I would really hate! Not sure if everyone else managed to get a bed of their own. And Sharon of course, a room of her own.

TBF I’d be hanging around with Louis and Sharon in there as probably the most interesting. Aside from lovely David and Nikita of course.

I do quite like Fern but I guess by same token she is really pandering to the likes of Gary as she thinks he is popular with the public/high profile?

I think you’d hang on to those you felt would get you through the experience!
