Yes insanely expensive! $90 per person or more plus 22% tax and Island tax combined on everything. The Maldives is so expensive anyway and the hotels tend to think if your there then you must be loaded! We did a Whale Shark Swim and it was around $350 (everything is in US dollars also!)

we did a beach dinner and it was $175 plus 22% we also hired bikes which were a bargain at $5 per day per bike lol. Sandbank picnics I have have seen prices up to $600 which is insane.
