i don’t even think it’s that, it just that the magic takes so long and there’s no intensity to it. It just felt like a really long conversation with small acts of magic. I want fast paced action like the French guy who kept popping up all over the gaff

i hate dance acts on this show cause I grew up a dancer and the judges talk complete tit. She really isn’t good at all. She’s very strong but that’s it. Her musicality is off completely, her knees are bent in the turns, her releve is low. At 13 she should be able to straighten her knees, turn her hip out properly and hold her weight and core in the turns.

It’s a very Dance Moms style contemporary. I got tit from someone on Twitter when she did her semi final for saying that it’s not dance. Apparently I’m uncultured despite having danced for nearly 30 years! There’s more tricks than actual steps. I think it bends the rules when it comes to basic technique!

Apparently I’m uncultured despite having danced for nearly 30 years! There’s more tricks than actual steps. I think it bends the rules when it comes to basic technique!

It really annoys me when people seem to think they make tit up in a genre. Contemporary when I was growing up (im 26) was based in classic ballet and jazz steps. I appreciate trends and styles change but technique is technique and it’s timeless. I love a good trick as much as the gal and I LOVE contemporary. It’s probably my favourite style but do it properly!
