Britain's Got Talent 2023

I'm so glad my kids never got into theatre. Having to watch them sing and dance every week with their class would drive me mad. Bad enough once a year at Christmas. No offence to those little mermaid kids but kids do that at school all over the UK.

It was weird. I can only assume that he made it to the final 3. So the two kids went straight through.
 
Who do you all think the wild card will be?
I'm thinking MB14 or Unity. I'm suspecting MB14 because Alesha and Amanda clearly fancied him, but I think it should be Unity because of their message mostly, but also their talent too. Genuinely gobsmacked that he got the audience vote over Unity, he wasn't even that good last night. Could see his pants multiple times when we weren't supposed to yesterday.

Simon said that the wild card would be an act that had reached the Top 3 which rules out Unity

He was wearing pants…and we could see them when we shouldn’t which totally defeated the point of his act. Also, I found him really strange during the results, almost a bit threatening in his movements and face. I’m sure he was just trying to be funny, but I feel like it would have been uncomfortable to be the 13 year old standing next to him.

Definitely this! There is so much other talent out there but most of the people that went through were singers. I thought the yo-yos were great and something really different. Instead we have a final of singers and dancers!

Also, not to sound like one those people but it kind of annoys me that there are so many foreign people that get invited to compete. Are you seriously telling me that in a nation of what 68 million (?) people, you don’t get people who sign up and audition?

Yeah I mean I like seeing these acts from around the world but the pedant in me finds it so grating that the show is still called Britain's got Talent when half the contestants don't even live in Britain. Just change the name! World's got Talent or something 😅

I don't mind them coming to audition. It just annoys me that they get invited to audition.
