Literally this… I’ve just started it today. My Sil has watched it and so has my mum and she keeps asking me if I’ve watched it. I’m like I do not wanna take about Bridgerton with you mum 🙈🙈

Interesting, I wonder if the original Francesca did a Rege? 😆 She isn’t much of a presence in the books until her own story, so I wonder if they want her to feature more in the series so the audience are more invested in her character? I hope they choose someone gorgeous to play the man she marries - he was one of my favourite love interests - possibly my favourite actually, totally swoon worthy and he had better moves in the sack then the Bridgerton brothers.😆
 
Perhaps - maybe they are creating her earlier story when she is out that would run through season 4 before we meet her at the start of her book story? If that makes sense without mentioning spoliers ..

Yes, I think you’re right. I just saw an article about the actress who they have cast and she is definitely a rising star - she was absolutely stunning in Anatomy of a Scandal. It looks like they are planning on making her a main character. I wonder if they are planning on doing her story sooner, or, as you say, filling in her earlier story.

Yes I think that’s what they’ll do, would be interesting to see it actually as we don’t get to in the books.

It’s my favourite of the books and I love her love interest too, in my mind he was played by Paul Mescal. 😍

I don’t really care about either character but I’m interested to see how the show gets the audience invested in their love story. And Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley have talked a lot about what’s next for Anthony and Kate so I’ll watch for them at least.

Yup.
That and Penelope is an absolute witch. I feel like her and Eloise are a good pairing as friends, both feel they’re vastly superior to all the other ‘silly’ women around me… pick me girls of yesteryear 😂

Is this going to be Regency She’s All That where Penelope has taken her hair down and a bit of lippy on and ooh suddenly this very pretty woman has been pretty all along!
