I worked with a very odd man who everyone was convinced was a virgin. For secret Santa he got porn DVDs as a supposedly hilarious jape but it actually just came off as really hurtful and nasty and he never took part again
But he also didn’t bother to buy anything and one of his team members had to buy it and turned out she ended up buying for herself so sympathies are a little limited

When you’re self employed there’s no secret Santa or wanky night out which is perfect for me because I hate people. Plus I have 278492919282 nieces and nephews/godchildren/friend’s kids to buy for.
I do take myself for a nice lunch usually but because I’m going away for Christmas I’m saving my pennies.

Ours is free, it’s during the afternoon tho so if you don’t want to go you need to take the afternoon as annual leave. I quite enjoy it tho despite generally being pretty anti social

But it definitely didn’t go down the way the giver expected, was all just very awkward.
i find it truly bizarre that men will so openly gawp at clearly underage girls and yet if it was their daughter they’d be horrified
