Biggest miscasts in films

I agree with Emma Watson in Beauty and the Beast and Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow.

The actor that played the dad in 'Yes Day'. He seemed quite awkward and out of place.

Isabella Rossellini in a film called Fearless.

Kirsten Stewart as Snow White.

Ben Affleck in a lot of films. Seems like he hasn't really prepared for the role. Family Guy made a joke about it.

Harry Potter:
Bonnie Wright as Ginny. She was wooden and dull. Ginny was supposed to be outgoing and vivacious in the books.
Michael Gambon as Dumbledore - too aggressive
Emma Thompson as Trelawney. I think Tilda Swinton was originally supposed to play her.

The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy movie from 2005, the movie was crap and the casting was totally fucked up.
Okay I'm a fan of the original Radio and TV show, none of the cast for the movie were suitable for the roles they
were cast as.

I only watched the film once and it was painful to watch.

Yeah Gary Oldman is a great actor but he was no way the Sirius of the books.

Who'd have been your perfect Sirius? Gary Oldman grew on me, but he definitely wasn't the Sirius I imagined.

It's been so long since I watched it that I don't really remember how I imagined him in the first place - perhaps like Ben Barnes  A bit more rock'n'roll than Oldman.

I think Daniel Day-Lewis would have made a good Sirius. Looks I imagined when I was reading the books - https://spurzine.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Daniel-Day-Lewis-Spur-Magazine-1014x642.jpg

I always thought the casting in The Truth About Cats and Dogs was off. It's supposed to be a story about an utterly stunning woman and her mousy friend but I'd say Uma Thurman was more quirky and Janeane Garofalo was a classic beauty.

I love this movie and I couldn't agree more with you. As stunning as Uma Thurman is, she isn't what I would call a traditional beauty at all. I always thought someone like Cameron Diaz would have suited that role more.

John Travolta as Vincent Vega- pulp fiction....

There ive said it! I wish Michael Madson had got it. But then i know Vincent and mr blonde are supposed to be brothers.

Emma watson in beauty and the beast.

It's interesting a lot of people are on the same page about Emma Watson yet she got such a string of prominent roles. Apart from the HP films did anything she was in smash the box office or was she riding the HP train until the end?
