Looking at the betting odds I don’t see how anyone other than Tom and Jenkin can be evicted, Tom is absolutely toast, his odds to win are something like 125/1. Jenkin not far behind at 80/1. The bookies can be wrong but not that wrong. It’s always interesting watching the odds for BB, IAC and Strictly. Last weeks evictions was much closer

We need to vote as if Jordan is a goner - that's the only survival tactic.

My poor Henry and his poor Heart

I'm resigned to Jenkin going back in (defence mechanism) and am now rooting for Jordan to find out everything Henry thinks and feels and for them to have a lovely reunion on Friday -even if just as mates with Jordan knowing he was truly adored for who he is.

I needed a back up dream. Thank you for this 😆

Catching up on last night's episode and although I've been onto Yinrun's tactics for a while, last night confirmed it. Crying when she was saying who she nominated, crying when having to make a decision, BAWLING when the 3 got 'evicted'. It's all a show at this stage and I hope she doesn't win
I can't stand Timjim and he made a terrible fuss about Smeggy Paul leaving, but I had a scintilla of understanding for him last night when Yinrun started with her wailing again.
I like her but it would drive me fucking mad. Glad Matty was quite firm 'come on Yinrun, don't leave this all up to me'.

She didn't cry when she said who she was nominating. She had a slight wobble in her voice for a couple of words, but that wasn't crying. Have you never felt like that when you've been put on the spot in a stressful situation and had to announce bad news to someone's face? Loads of people get a lump in their throat, what does it matter?

I think the problem is that people think humans are always in two states: not crying and crying with tears. They forget that there are many physical ways of feeling sadness, anxiety, guilt, etc. Have you never been in a stressful situation and felt your lip quivering and your cheeks getting tight? You might feel a cry coming on but manage to compose yourself or the feeling comes and goes in waves. It's entirely normal. Yinrun doesn't do it "all the time". She's not breaking down when she's participating in planned nominations privately, when she's making a cup or tea, when she's doing her exercises. She does it when she's suddenly put into unexpected emotional situations: Trish leaving, nominating Jenkin to his face, nominating Tom and Jenkin to their faces, seeing people reunited with their loved ones, hearing her boyfriend behind her. The way experiencing emotions is looked down in British culture is pathetic and the way people can't comprehend anyone being different to them in regards to this is awful.

Happy to see that the Yinrun army are still out in force 💪 I thought this thread was for discussion about Big Brother not about giving lectures in regards to emotions. You mention at the latter end of your post that "experiencing emotions is looked down [upon] in British culture". I would like to make it very clear that I do not have an issue with her showing emotion, but more importantly, I must state that I am not British.

For me the worst was Helen Wood but I hear you. I loathed Josie and foul John James, all they did was lie in their stinking pit of a bed and snarl at the other hm's.

I felt like just giving up on BB after that awful woman Helen Wood won. How she went from being the most horrible person ever, to winning, in the space of 2 or 3 nights will always be one of life's biggest mysteries. Even the memory of how nasty she was makes me shudder. Never liked Josie Gibson either btw.

Probably not the best place to share your opinions if you don't want people commenting on them.

Don't have an issue with her showing emotion yet you interpret her nervous voice as "crying" and point out that she was "BAWLING" when the three housemates left (one of which was her closest friend in the house after Trish left) when several other housemates also cried during that moment like they have done at literally every eviction so far. Sounds like you have a very big issue.

Jordan was her closest friend after Trish left? Really? I genuinely haven't seen that. I know they are friends but I would say she is far closer to Henry tbh.

While I can’t stand any over the top displays of emotion, and would cringe to my very soul if I had to be around Yinrun’s wailing I don’t hate her for it. It might not always be actual tears but I do think it’s the way she would react irl. I get the impression she presents herself in the way she thinks is “proper”. When she is very upset and struggling to express herself she wails to show it. I think it might be partly her upbringing, doing the correct response as a respectful young woman, and partly her personality- she has big feelings and expresses them in a big way. It’s quite a good shield from difficult situations as well- if you’re crying hysterically you generally won’t be confronted or pushed to explain yourself.
