I've been watching BB since 2004 and I've NEVER been so confused (feelings-wise) by a housemate as I have been by Chanelle.

First week or so, everyone was calling her a 'wallpaper' housemate, I thought she was okay
Then, after her handling of Jenkyn and his 'iced out' nonsense, I really liked her
Now, since that, I think she's bleeping horrible :ROFLMAO:

I usually form an opinion after a short time and stick with it. She's definitely a one-off
I feel this way about Olivia you know!!!

At first I hated her when she went in and started crying immediately
I warmed to her a bit (despite all the screaming and shouting) as I heard her start opening up and having a few really mature conversations
Then she got dragged back in with Paul & co.'s bully behaviour
Then yesterday the way she handled Trish and had a really sincere conversation about things - during her nom talk she even said nominating is gunna be really hard (I assume because she had finally understood Trish's intentions have never been bad)
And then SECONDS later, Chanelle & Tom manage to change her mind again!

I really believe if Paul/Chanelle/Tom/Jenkin weren't around, I would fall in love with Olivia. She is a sweet girl with a good heart deep down, but she gets sucked into the dark side by the others in her group.

Totally agree, she doesn’t half as annoy me as Chanelle or Tom now. Would rather see them go first. I didn’t mind Chanelle either but she’s shown her true colours last night. Face like thunder when her group were wanting to truce and admitting they maybe got some of it wrong.

Latest odds, Trish now the same as Yinrun:

Best friends for life?

Come on now. Its a glorified "meeting people on holiday and saying you'll meet up at home". I very much doubt they'll be tight "for life".

Serious eye rolling happening here.

I always figure that the closest approximation that I've had to the BB experience was going off on a training day at work, where they threw in about the same number of people to watch presentations and participate in team bonding  exercises. I remember one such event from around 20 years ago and as of now, I can remember only two other people who were part of that event. (OK so it wasn't a pressure cooker environment on TV and so long-lasting / intense). One was someone who worked in the next door office and who I found to be slightly more tolerable than I'd previously thought. The other was a warehouse guy who I seemed to get on with OK and who I probably acknowledged if I saw him around whereas previously might not have particularly recognised. Not a particularly scintillating anecdote, but neither was the event itself.

I think that I would enjoy the BB experience if it weren't for the cameras and being on TV, and given the typical line ups, I'd expect to want to remain stay-in-touch friends with no more than one or two by the end and (best case scenario) come away with some education and respect for those that I didn't mesh with. I reckon that the edit distorts things because we see the house as constantly teetering on the edge of war, whereas the live stream does tend to show a group of people mostly getting along quite well, who speak their minds to one another sometimes when they have differences.

This is not to minimise the pressure cooker environment added complication of cameras. That would duck me up, it's the reason that I don't take seriously any thought of giving it a go myself. Worst case scenario, I'd shut down emotionally, like Jordan, and go and curl up out of view of the cameras. But I don't view BB's manipulations as much of a problem; those things tend to be part of the game, which is supposed to be the fun part.

I've seen a different side to Matty in the last episode

1. The open relationship boyfriend is hot!
2. But he lives in America??
3. His emotional reaction even though he's been very reserved the last 4 weeks
4. Which also lead to the revelation of the 5 page Google document which I don't think is something he would've shared usually but he seems to be on an emotional spiral
Google document? What did I miss?

Watching Late and Live now because I was too tired last night.

How gorgeous is Noky’s sister? I really want to see their parents now, they must be a breathtakingly gorgeous family!

Trish’s sister seemed lovely. Very like Trish.

Matty’s boyfriends message would have been lovely for Matty to hear. It was very reassuring even if it was pointed. However I’m glad he didn’t get the message from his boyfriend because we wouldn’t have had Matty’s wailing, and it was so so worth it.

I feel like Tom is going to slide to the final, under the radar. I hate him and Chanelle the most, Jenkin close third. Olivia I think would be okay without those twats, she’s very easily influenced sadly. I wish her sister had something about avoiding cunts. Chanelle’s dad should have called her out - unless she’s always a spiteful racist hag.

Jesus. Sounds like hard work haha.
I think it sounds sensible. Sure, they've got more to think about than in monogamous relationships, but I think everyone should set out boundaries. Some people feel cheating is watching porn, liking an instagram models photo.

It's very progressive and not everyone will understand their way of life, but good on them for putting in the effort to make it work. Real emotional maturity.
