Wanted to recommend this American series, now on iPlayer. Was previously
broadcast on BBC2. I had watched the first series, and missed the fact that a second series had been made. Stars Pamela Adlon as a divorced actress mother of three daughters living in Los Angeles. You have to overlook the fact that Louis CK is one of the writers. Celia Imrie plays her mother.

De-lurking to wholeheartedly agree - watched both series back to back and thought it was brilliant. Loved Nigel Havers as the uncle in Canada! There’s a Series 3 on the way but not sure when that might be on over here

Haven't got to Nigel Havers yet! I have a few more episodes to go. She's just hooked up with Henry Thomas as her new boyfriend.

Waking this thread up as Season 5 - the final season - starts today in the US. Existing seasons are on Disney+ so hoping these will appear there too
