I watched a few series of below deck on prime a year or so ago. Saw the Mediterranean one and a few more seasons of ‘normal’ below deck were on Netflix so have flown through a few more over last month while I’ve been on maternity leave.

there’s only a few more episodes of the Mediterranean one left on Netflix …wondering where I can go to watch the rest ? I’ve nosed in the thread and have seen sailing yacht and down under mentioned- where can I watch those?

i have prime, Netflix and a basic sky subscription . Love below deck. Such an easy watch and gosh I would just love to be looked after and fed fancy food for s few days in the sun!

Defo recommend sailing yacht, and we're all new to Down Under, first ever season! I watch on hayu through Now TV, can you get hayu on prime?

It sure was. I felt quite unsettled after it. Gaby unravelled badly and I don't even want to think about what was sexual assault.

I am so glad it’s not just me. I feel like there needs to be a mid season reunion so that there’s a right to reply to the Gary/Ashley situation. I felt sick watching her interview reactions/inconsistencies the following day - and the ‘playing up’ for the microphones whilst she was in the cabin. Without wanting to sound like a total oldie, I’m sure Bravo should have a duty of care for this behaviour - it was consensual to an extent but if they did have sex and he wasn’t aware, that’s equally an issue re duty of care in that they shouldn’t be promoting that level of drunk behaviour..

I really felt for Gabi.. I hope she feels she can watch it back and have her head held high. Depending on the outcome of this season, I wouldn’t be surprised if she was back as second stew for season 4 if she is able to get the help that she needs - and most importantly not look for acceptance or validation in a drunk man!

Need to lastly just get off my chest how much I fancy (Sailing Yacht) Colin - not usually one to majorly fancy film/tv people but he does something very warming to me when he’s on screen 🤣

There is always something attractive about someone who is very good at their job, he is so cool and competent. And his eyes 'smize' naturally. 😊

ETA: I have Now TV so add Hayu for £4.99pm.

I am going to finish S3 of BDSY before I go on to BD Downunder, can't wait as I love Aesha.

Maybe I’m making an assumption here but did anyone else feel like Ash was way more sober and in control of the situation than she let on? One min she says she can’t remember and then she is bragging to Gab and in her talking head saying what happened and how men usually go crazy over her.

I was a little late in watching this episode and now I wish I didn't. It's reassuring to see that everyone here felt the same discomfort I did.
That was assault. He wasn't aware. He said "No" and "Get it out" and "We're not having sex". He wasn't consenting. He tried to stop it but was too drunk to. She ignored him and carried on with what she wanted. He told Daisy he was "paralytic"- Ashley is absolute scum to take advantage of him in that situation.
And she's so proud and giggling about it after? WTF?!

Gabi- I don't understand the switch in her storyline at all. What happened? She was so in control, so professional, so fun at the start. Why did she spiral? And why did she say she needs to work on herself to Glenn? Did we miss something horrible she did, because I saw her trying her hardest.
Yes, she was horrible to Marcos on the day off, but he's been horrible to her all along- even refusing every apology she made- and she finally snapped at him. She got kicked in the face in the pool and he just laughed at her, instead of checking if she was okay.
I was such a fan of his at the start, but I now see how he's manipulative and has (along with Ashely) contributed to her losing her standing amongst the crew. He's older and in a position of authority, so he could be more mature and help her feel included in the group, but he's acting like he's being gracious to her whilst subtly icing her out and badmouthing her to Colin and Daisy. He's a gaslighter. I feel like I'm alone in this as most people still stan Marcos, but he's really gone down in my estimation.

Feeling really tit after this episode tbh. It's supposed to be light entertainment but it's mentally draining.

I completely agree that this was an incredibly hard episode to watch and I fully agree that it is only because Gary is a) male and b) a bit of a player that there was no backlash. No man would still be on that boat if the roles were reversed. Imagine if it had been with Daisy when she was so drunk at the beginning of the series in the hot tub with Gary.

It reminds me of Big Brother when Craig was basically all over a very drunk Anthony and got away with the most mild warning. Men can be assaulted as well

I was really shocked by it. She is a predator and he was saying no. Imagine the roles reversed.

Gabi has spoken out on a podcast! Some new details here (quoting the post as I don't think we're allowed to link ):
Gangplank Report with Gaby (Ep 10 Spoilers)

Gaby says

  • she watched S2 and thought she would be friends with everyone and things went left and she found it hard to deal with
  • she knows she drank too much but it was the only way she could get out of her head for a second, later talks about not being able to escape and that made it worse. resentment that built during workdays came out on nights out & pushed cast away isolating her
  • she didn't know the sabotaging started that early from Ashley and it explains why people were distant with her and didn't get to know her and thought they got along as they joked in their cabin etc
  • she didn't get bonding moments sober bc she was typically busy with guests
  • Compares Ashley to 'single white female'
  • Says she was friends with the deck team, Gary, Kelsie and Tom esp as Kelsie and her were on nights together and had lots of convos
  • Says the experience broke her spirit, she didn't like herself, saw an emptiness behind her eyes and left broken
  • She had previously spoken to Glenn about how she was feeling that wasn't shown
Adrienne/Jennifer say

  • she may not be a cast fave but is a fan fave
  • nice to see Gary be more rounded this season
  • calls Gaby smart but says she has a sharp tongue
  • Adrienne talks about not coming across as herself in S1 and how it affected her
  • They were shipping Wes/Gabby before they got together after they did their interview together with them.
On Marcos

  • On their first night, Gaby was into Marcos but on their first night out she found he was rolling his eyes at her a lot and ignoring her when she spoke. Thinks her assertive nature gets under his skin. Editing left stuff out and it got really dark but she doesn't blame production for leaving out scenes because it was nasty and not fun to watch
  • She knows he is trying to be a better person and she triggered him so maybe that plays into his reaction
  • Talks about needing therapy after a bad ex and says she lashes out when people gaslight her or act like her ex too
  • 2 months after filming Marcos reached out and said they should hang out in LA and was friendly, even flirty and then he unfollowed her and then reached out again later
  • Last month he said he was disappointed in her and wanted nothing to do with her and she is confused by him
Pool party

  • After Marcos knocked Daisy into her, Colin hit her with the flamingo and it reminded her of school with kids ganging up
  • He was laughing at her choking and Marcos was saying she is picking on me
Gaby stopped drinking for a while and has learned how to gauge when she has had enough after the season and worked on herself. Working with great people has helped. Wes is kind, comfortable and patient and it has been great for her to feel supported by a partner.

Adrienne addresses the CDAN Blind. It was said and by a cast member, it was not Daisy and she experienced no microaggressions from Daisy. It has caused a lot of issues for her as other cast have reached out blaming her for it or saying she should do something about it.

She has spoken to Daisy and they had a chat and she takes some responsibility for initial retweets that made people think it was and stating it wasn't Daisy helped. She respects Daisy and knows it was a difficult situation to deal with and doesn't think it is fair to judge her on dealing with something so heavy.

I was right about Marcos being manipulative and gaslighting her! I rewatched the episode and he really is such a snake in it. We don't notice because we're all focused on Ashley being a predator and Gabi suddenly lashing out, but Marcos has been part of the issue all along.

Thanks for the recap! 👍🏼 Glad to have it confirmed that some significant parts weren’t shown as there just seemed to be a complete shift in behavior's and attitudes towards her. She seemed like a decent person and I hope she gets whatever support and help she needed.

On a separate note I had completely forgotten about Adrien from the original BD! Wow!
