I was a massive Fresh Prince fan when I was younger! So I was really excited about this.
Carlton is so unlikeabl. Which I'm gutted about as I loved him in the sitcom and Alfonso played it so well. I was shocked when Carlton said the F word (amongst other things!) My 13 year old self back in the day would never have believed it!!
I think its well done and I like the occasional nods to the original, like the staircase in the house, the dice in the car windscreen, the inside out school jacket!
However I do feel that without the humour/ comedic aspect to it, it looses its overall universal appeal.
Uncle Phil is well cast, and I think Will is too.
Yeh I am enjoying it and I think it will get better as it goes on.

I’ve really enjoyed it so far, think it’s massively important not to compare it to the original as this is much darker.
I actually really like the aunt Viv character and think Jeffery could be really interesting as well, not wanting to say too much for those that haven’t watched.
