Behind Her Eyes - Netflix

I got the notification and started watching it immediately, finished it in two days.

I soooo enjoyed it: the beautiful actors in it, their acting (felt the Dr was the weakest actor), the beautiful settings (forest, Islington, their house, even Louise's flat was beautiful), the suspension (I had so many wrong theories about what their relationship might be founded on and what had happened) and yes, even the ending.

I didn't know the book and the book got very mixed reviews because of the ending.

Is astral travel real? I checked in some esoterica forums and some people claim to do it frequently. I don't know what to think about it, but feel like the ending was surreal, but fitting.

If anyone knows more movies or series like this - pls share!
I think I will watch it again, I just enjoyed its atmosphere

I think you're enjoyment of it all comes down tonhow much you buy into astral travel.

Yes, but I like it even apart from the ending. Due to the setting, the seductive affair, the many emotions and the suspense.

But I understand that anyone who categorically things astral travel is rubbish would feel betrayed at the end - such a huge build-up for something that they perceive to be silly.

I never researched astral travel before, wasn't even aware that it existed I think.

Thanks for the spoiler.

Got 4/5 episodes in and then realised the weird turn it was taking. I was like ughh I've got this far in so I'll have to see it through now. At that point I predicted the big twist at the end. It was okay but I was hoping for something more like gone girl etc so was disappointed.

Oh my gosh, this is GREAT!

I received an alert this morning that it was new to Netflix ... not sure if it's new-new or what, but I'm about 20 minutes in so far and love it. (I hope my raving about it isn't premature).

If you like creepy dramas like Dr Foster I think you should check it out.

👍
This sounds down my street, thanks.

I can’t believe I sat through all of that to get that ending! i think I would have enjoyed it with a different cast, apart from Adele, she played her part perfectly. The best person in it was the nosey old receptionist.

She reminded me so much of someone I've posted about in the 'things your co-workers do that annoy you' thread :ROFLMAO:

Yes, but

switching vessels (bodies) like that isn't; you also have to be extremely careful that you don't lose your silver cord

Wow!!!

I honestly did not predict the ending. I thought Adele was going to catch David and Rob having an interlude and kill Rob as a result.

This was such a great show. I loved "Adele's" performance! And
how good was "Louise"'s acting at the end when she was pretending to be "Adele" Poor little kid.
