I don’t believe that Richard didn’t expect this.

I almost feel like this is his way of getting revenge..he doesn’t want to publicly out them himself and he knew people on the internet would find out who these people are so he’s letting everyone else out them for him.

Of course he knew people would react like this, and if he didn’t then I think he’s pretty naive..

I think if he was that concerned, he would have have done a lot more to protect her identity. Unless of course we are all mistaken..but I’m very confident that we all know who the real Martha is..otherwise it’s very unfair of him to base his character off of her and use her tweets in his show knowing that people would be able to find them and mistake her for the “real” Martha..

I agree. I also wonder if he in some way hopes she'll make contact with him again. He seems to seek out chaos.
 
Also just to mention again…she was tweeting him in 2014 asking if he had received her emails, and if he had gotten the gifts she had sent to the theatre..

Along with weird tweets saying he has a fantastic arse and asking him to call her..it’s bizarre.
I’ll eat my words if I’m wrong but I really don’t see how it can’t be her 😂

Oh wow yeah he must have known that she’d be easily found. Gotta be some sort of revenge or stay away thing. Or some part is waiting for more contact

Yes, it’s concerning how many people are assuming that every single aspect of the show is a moment that very definitely happened exactly as it was presented on screen.

‘Based on a true story’ does not mean ‘verifiable and unvarnished documentary evidence of every single event that occurred’

To be fair even without the shows existence there's more than enough information online to draw the conclusion that she's a nasty piece of work.

Stalking MP's, tormenting a disabled child, being removed from multiple law practices where she was taken on as a trainee.. for inappropriate behaviour.

Then you've got her own personal Facebook and all of the vitriol coming straight from the horses mouth, so to speak.

I’m not sure what you think I said. I made no comment on the woman in question or what type of person she may be.

My comment was on the fact that people are conflating aspects of the tv show with real life, such as believing that she ‘went to prison’ or is subject to a restraining order in respect of RG, when many many aspects of the show (as with any form of entertainment) have been tweaked and finessed in order to construct a more satisfying and cohesive narrative.
