I haven’t finished the series but assuming Martha never went on trial is it possible that FH isn’t Martha just saying she is and it is just a coincidence she fits the Martha profile?

Does it hold up if they out themselves on YouTube with Piers Morgan?

Yes, that's irrelevant as the clues are still in Baby Reindeer to work out who it is.

She tweeted Gadd in 2014 about hanging curtains. It's her.

Don't know if this has already been shared but this is her nephew.

Are people seriously believing this guy just because he has the same surname 🤦🏼‍♀️ Where’s his claim to fame before now? Non-Existent because she only mentioned the name Muir last night. It’s funny but come on someone is blatantly at it 😂
---
So this Kyle guy claims he has a video of her being released from prison
Why would there a video of her getting released 😂

I am starting to think it’s all one big social experiment- I still can’t quite believe what I have watched tonight. As Piers said - you are either innocent or a really good liar.
I also imagine Netflix have done their due diligence- surely they have saw some evidence to prove the true story is true! However through all of this - Gadd has never stated it’s FH, nor has anyone involved 🤷🏽‍♀️ I am deep in a rabbit hole now - desperately need to drag myself out of it or work will be difficult tomorrow 😳
He said you're either innocent or a really BAD liar.

Only just joined this thread so apologise if this has been voiced before. My biggest take from Baby Reindeer was that Gadd viewed himself, Martha, his Dad and Teri as victims that were left increasingly vulnerable after enduring trauma.
Tonight’s interview with FH was disturbing; as a mental health professional I feel she shouldn’t have been allowed to be interviewed in this manner. I have said on many a thread on here that we don’t need to medicalise people- some people can just be crappy people; nothing to do with mental illness. However, l believe FH needs help.
I found it very uncomfortable to watch. She clearly has some kind of personality disorder going on. I don’t think it was right to interview her either she’s made things even worse for herself

For what it’s worth, I could imagine Richard Gadd being a bit naive about Martha/Fiona being identified- remember he’s done several shows about it (admittedly to a much smaller audience), and it’s it possible he’d forgotten all the tweets were still up? Without the tweets no one would have found her.

Netflix however, HAD to have known how these things blow up, surely their due diligence would have unearthed the tweets, so did they want her to be found? They must have known this is how people would react- they’ve had enough shows go viral like this

I can’t see how it couldn’t have crossed his mind, he knows Netflix has a huge audience & he didn’t do much in the way of disguising her like he claimed😂

I might be in the minority here but had I been raped and also had a stalker who hounded me relentlessly as well as my family members...I genuinely don't think I would give a duck about either of them getting exposed or found out in the process of furthering my career. Netflix and Gadd have most likely covered the legalities of Baby Reindeer so..it's all tough luck really.

Apologies if this has already been posted. Just saw it on TikTok 😂

Yeah I totally agree. Netflix have to have seen the emails/voicemails etc to allow ‘this is a true story’ to be all over it

Resident Scots, how common is this ordinary degree thing? Down here you would only be awarded an ordinary degree if you miss a third class honours degree by a really small amount…it’s basically useless here. But isn’t it the case in Scotland that honours is 4 years and ordinary 3 years? Is it common to choose to do an ordinary degree?

Yes, you can leave after three years with an ordinary degree which is unclassified which is what Fiona has done. It’s not uncommon but is usually done if the student is unlikely to achieve a 2:1 so could be taken as an indication of not having done particularly well.

This has been picked up on a few times now & im a little confused as it was based on a true story wasn't it? So some dramatisation expected? It wasn't a documentary so I'm not sure how much fact checking would be expected & what the legal stance is. I'd be surprised if Netflix have left themselves open for any legal claims, but who knows!

No I totally agree. I think being exposed is the least of their worries and actually kind of what they deserve 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m not sure what mh issues she has, if any, but she’s quite clearly a thoroughly unpleasant piece of work with a misplaced God complex.
